“Decorating is not about making stage sets, it’s not about making pretty pictures for the magazines; it’s really about creating a quality of life, a beauty that nourishes the soul.”

– Albert Hadley

The talent behind the reputation

Design your interior to be timeless, sustainable, efficient and beautiful.

V.W. Interiors, LLC, founded in 1994 by Veronica Whitlock, provides a full range of interior design and renovation services for projects of all sizes. Whether moving or looking to redesign a single room, an entire house or simply find one special item, Veronica listens, senses, feels and then creates to the delight of her clients. By taking all elements of lifestyle, architecture, location, and budget into consideration, Veronica and her team are known for developing confidence, trust and a pleasant rapport with her clients.

Rooms are carefully crafted with fine, creative manifestations of traditional form and an appreciation for historic reference. With a studied eye for design, color and texture along with excellent drawing and organizational skills, the company works well with the most discerning clientele. Veronica has won homeowner’s admiration and respect for both small and large projects in the greater NY/CT area as well as the Southeast, Florida, and overseas. She has had the pleasure of working on commercial projects as well as second and third homes for many of her clients.

Veronica has distinguished academic credentials in the interior design field. She graduated from Duke University, cum laude, with a double major in studio art and art history. Her first job was at William Doyle Galleries, now Doyle New York, where she was surrounded by fine antiques, quality reproductions, and a huge selection of decorative arts. She then graduated from the New York School of Interior Design (NYSID) with high distinction. In 2005, she graduated from the three-year BTB Feng Shui Masters Training Program in Manhattan. She received her Masters of Arts in the History of Decorative Arts and Design from Cooper-Hewitt and Parsons in May 2010.
